Who these terms cover

These terms apply to your use of this website, which is operated by Bannister Roofing, a residential and commercial roofing contractor based in Rome, Georgia. The written proposal you sign for a specific roof, not this page, governs the work itself; if the two ever conflict, the signed proposal controls.

Free inspections and estimates

Submitting the form on this site is a request, not a booking. It creates no obligation on either side until we agree on a written proposal.

Our roof inspections are free and there is nothing to sign the day we visit. Written estimates are based on what we can see and measure at that time and are typically good for 30 days.

Rotten decking, layered shingles, or damage hidden under the old roof are sometimes found only after tear-off. When that happens we stop, show you the photos, and price the additional work before continuing.

Scheduling and weather

Roofing is weather-dependent. Start dates are our best estimate and can move for rain, wind, heat, or a material delay. We tell you as soon as we know, and we do not open a roof we cannot dry in.

Insurance claims

We are a roofing contractor, not an insurance company, adjuster, or public adjuster. We document damage with photos and measurements, provide a scope of work, and meet your adjuster on site, but the claim decision and the settlement are between you and your carrier.

We do not advise you on your policy, negotiate your claim on your behalf, or waive, absorb, or rebate any part of your deductible. Under Georgia law your deductible is yours to pay.

Warranties

Completed work carries two separate warranties: the manufacturer’s warranty on the materials, subject to the manufacturer’s own terms and registration, and our written workmanship warranty on the installation. Both are handed to you in writing when the job closes. Warranties do not cover storm or impact damage, structural movement, work altered by others, or roofs not maintained as described in your paperwork.

Pricing and payment

Prices quoted are for the scope described in your proposal. Payment terms, deposits, and progress payments are set in that proposal. We do not accept payment through this website, and we never ask for payment by wire transfer or gift card — if you receive such a request in our name, call us at 706-346-8761 before you act on it.
